NEXT GENERATION EU:
the Europe of 2030
On March 20, we participated at the Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome in the "NEXT GENERATION UE: EUROPE OF 2030" event, which saw us as protagonists in the organization together with the student newspaper @globetrotter
We discussed and debated together with the students of Europe, Youth, Pnrr and much more, with the presence as moderator of Prof. Benedetto, the director of Globe Trotter 360 Michelangelo Mecchia, the Honorable Giuseppe Conte, and our Vincenzo Nicolò and Zineb Soukrati.

Building a sense of European identity is a complex and lengthy process. It is favored and punctuated by historical events of primary importance, but it needs, to be installed, a set of symbols and a narrative, with respect to which the role of institutions has always been decisive.
Next Saturday the green area in Via Ireland will be dedicated to the memory of David Sassoli under the patronage of @cittadaprilia e @onehourforeurope_it, the Aprilia Section of the European Federalist Movement will inaugurate the European Bench.

Murals inauguration in Alpignano - #paintEU 13/10/2022
The mural created as part of the #paintEU communication campaign was inaugurated on 13 October in Alpignano.
The work is the result of a European citizenship education program that our volunteers held at xxx. The project is carried out thanks to the collaboration with the Alpignano youth council, the municipality of Alpignano and together with other youth realities such as Europiamo ETS.

Inauguration of the European Bench - Catania (CT) 09/16/2022
Thanks to the President of the III Municipality Paolo Ferrara and to the municipal administration for having supported the European bench promoted by the ACLI Youth and One Hour for Europe, with the collaboration of the local groups of Azione Cattolica, ESN, AIESEC and Generazione Ypsilon.
The bench is located in Piazza Aldo Moro, in the Borgo-Sanzio district, and was inaugurated at the conclusion of the event "The Europe to come - opportunities for young people", organized in the Sicilian city by the ACLI Youth in celebration of 2022 , declared the European Year of Youth

The Art Collective of the MAC fest has created "Binding together": during the Festival, the work was made available to the participants who, with woolen threads of different colors and lengths, a symbol of union in respect of differences, metaphorically linked the member states.

The mural created by two students of the "Paul Klee Barabino" art school in Genoa was inaugurated in Genoa. The project is the result of a drawing competition promoted by us together with the Europe Direct Center of the Municipality of Genoa and other realities for Europe Day 2021.

The Europe to come - Catania 05/31/2022
2022 is the European Year of Youth and ACLI Youth would like to make their contribution to enhancing this special year.
The event will be divided into various dialogue windows and activities corresponding to the two phases of the European process "Europe is listening: meet the EU" and "European Year of Youth: opportunities and challenges for the future".
The event will conclude with an outdoor activity following the campaign #PaintEU which provides for the possibility for young participants to paint a #bench of the city of #Catania with the European flag.

Inauguration of European benches - Genoa (GE) 26/05/2022
Thanks to Michele Colnaghi and the Town Hall II Centro Ovest for having supported the European bench promoted by MFE and GFE Genova with the support of AICCRE Liguria and One Hour for Europe.
The bench is located in via Buozzi, at the crossroads with piazza di San Teodoro which gives the neighborhood its name, between the Genova Piazza Principe station and the famous port, two points of departure and arrival for citizens from all over Europe. There is no area in the entire Ligurian capital that can better symbolize the absence of borders in today's and tomorrow's Europe than this one.

Inauguration of European benches - Florence 03/27/2022
The bench is located in the Isolotto park, a place strongly experienced by the community and of great symbolic value thanks to the presence of a mural, a bench against violence against women and various installations.
This is the second bench in Italy dedicated to David Sassoli, which acquires even more meaning and value in the city where he was born.
His memory emerged, with a very powerful emotional charge, in the various interventions, as well as finding space - by means of a famous phrase of his - on the plaque placed on the bench: "The European Union is not an accident of history".

Today is the day: the first launch event of one of the projects that we coordinate and that we can't wait to tell you about! 🚀
🟡 At 19:00 we'll be live on Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn to tell you about the GAP project - Young activists for participation.
GAP is a youth participation activity funded by Erasmus+, which arises from the collaboration experience between some youth organizations that have come into contact since spring 2020 to bring the voice and proposals of the new generations to the Italian political agenda.

Genoa's first European bench!
Thanks to Claudio Chiarotti and the Municipality VII Genova Ponente for having supported the European bench promoted by MFE and GFE Genova, with the support of AICCRE Liguria, One Hour for Europe, Una Piazza per Pegli and Pegli Bene Comune.
In Genoa it was decided to promote the European benches in as many districts as possible, because Europe begins from these. The first, in chronological order, is located on the Pegli seafront, at the Molo Torre, a visually suggestive space and due to the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks.
